Children and Youth Ministries

Kids for Christ: Kids ages 4 years through 5th grade are invited to join us for Kids for Christ Club on Wednesday nights at 6PM (Aug to May). The fun begins with food and is followed by music, games, storytelling, and other creative activities that help kids grow in their faith and relationship with Jesus.

Live BIG: Sunday at 9:45AM children ages 4 through 5th grade experience God's love and learn to live out their faith in a BIG way. Their Sunday morning adventure incorporates music, video, discussion, and hands-on activities that help make Scripture come alive.

Youth Acting League Youth in grades 4-6 engage in fine arts with a Christian perspective. Youth learn Christian values while working together to practice and perform Christian skits. They meet on Wednesday from 3:15 until 6:00 for practice and then, on the third Sunday of each month, they perform their skit as part of the 11AM worship celebration.

UMYF: On Wednesday evenings at 6:30, our youth (grades 6-12) gather to praise and worship God, grow in their relationship with Jesus and each other, and to just hang out with together. The group also participate in mission trips, service projects, and spiritual retreats.

Get Real Sunday at 10:00AM the youth gather for more in depth Bible Study and discussion that helps them grow in their faith and witness.

Adult Ministry Opportunities:

Senior Fun and Fellowship: At 10:30 AM on the 3rd Thursday of the month senior citizens from our community get together for food, fun, and fellowship. Activities include board games, entertainment, lunch, and topics of particular interest to senior citizens.

PACE Exercise Every Tuesday and Thursday from 2:00 until 3:00, this group participates in low impact exercises, designed especially for people with Arthritis.

Methodist Women's Fellowship: Meets the first Thursday of the month for Bible study, prayer, lunch and business. These women are involved in a variety of outreach and service projects.

Quilters: A group of dedicated crafters come together every Tuesday and Wednesday and work on quilts that are made for new couples, babies, raffles, etc. Fellowship and food is a bonus.

Ladies Bible Study: Every Tuesday at 2:00, a group of women meet to study and discuss Scripture. Some even come earlier and exercise together.

Handyman's Ministry: Several men get together on the first Saturday of each month to serve members of our congregation and the community with their hands and heart. They start with breakfast and a brief devotion at 9AM and then set out to complete various service projects.

Small Group Opportunities: There are numerous opportunities to grow in your through small groups. Groups meet on Sunday mornings from 10:00-10:50 AM and on Wednesday evening from 6:30-7:30. Throughout the year, we also offer short-term studies designed to encourage and cultivate discipleship. Please contact the Pastor for more information.

Choir: We are blessed with very gifted and diverse musical talent. But this Spirit-filled not only gathers to practice but alos to share in prayer, laughter and fellowship. So if you can carry a tune or play an instrument come join the fun.
